Thank you!

I would like to thank you so much for eleven wonderful years

as your pastor here at Albion Hills Bible Church.  You took a

chance on a retired school teacher with no experience and grew

with me as I learned.

I want to thank you for the privilege you have given me to study the Word of God, to share it with you Sunday by Sunday.  It has been such an honour to lead you each month to the Table of the Lord.  There are some here that I have led to the Lord and some I have baptised.  Without your support, prayers and the guidance and strength of the Holy Spirit, I would have surely failed.

Thank you to so many of you for your faithful service in so many ministries of this Church. It has been wonderful to see you use the gifts God has blessed you with in His service.  Thank you to the many Boards who have supported and advised me.

Thank you so much to my wife Sue who has so faithfully supported me in the ministry.  Often she has paid the price when as I studied or prepared or had other duties to perform.  I would also thank her for her faithfulness in using her musical gifts to enhance our worship.

We are praying that God will continue to bless this work and bring the man of His choosing to continue as your new pastor.  We are looking forward to returning time to time to worship with you.  If there is any way we can help you, please feel free to call.  Let's keep in touch.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm.  Let nothing move you.  Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:58

Thank you Bill and Sue for your many years of sacrificial service, guidance and friendship.  We pray that God will continue to use you in ministry of some form even in retirement.

We have begun our search for a new Pastor.  Please be in prayer for us as a church, that we will have the discernment in knowing who the Lord will direct to us.  Pray that God will also prepare the right man and that it will be clearly evident to both him and us.

We look forward to see how God directs and continues to use His church in the Albion Hills.
